Gai force winds are expected along both caostlines of the continent

Tropical Storm "Beryl" is expected to bring winds and rain to the coastal shelf of the continent, while a Great Lakes storm system provides severe thunderstorms and the northwest coast of the continent is expected to receive severe gail force winds as well. Otherwise, the country is still swelting under high temperatures, very atypical for North America in this sustained manner.

All the moisture is above 36 North Latitude with little hope for change soon. The best that can happen is some seasonal storms from the Gulf.
