The heat transfer that starts at the equator north of Australia culminates in an unique vortex just west of South America. I sincerely believe this is a reversal of Global Warming. It is far too dramatic to ignore. The Antarctica vortex is separating from equatorial air masses. Earth may be achieving equilibrium again. The world has come far in recent years with the signators of Kyoto. They have been working hard regardless the frustration they were experiencing in believing it was insufficient.
The southern hemisphere is primarily ocean and highly reactive to ocean temperatures, especially the Pacific Ocean. Just as the deadly vortices of October 4, 2002 which also saw the reversal of the ice river "C Zero" of Antarctica the same day, sparked at incremental increases in carbon dioxide so therefore a reversal can happen as quickly. If this is the reverssal we have all worked so hard at then whole hearted congratulations to all the signators of Kyoto, there is still work to be done.
I remain optimistic but we still have a long way to go to be sure.
