Independent hospitals need to be organized by physicians who care for the transgender community. The people need help and while the victimization of this administration continues, there has to be a strategy forward for them. It may mean the only opportunity for youngsters is a special school in Europe if that is still an option. But, the idea Americans are being abandoned to their own fears of who they believe they are is also extreme mental cruelty.
This is not how to address changes in health care. Sudden changes in the name of Project 2025 is quite frankly a human rights violation; as well as the idea of abandonment of Americans who feel differently about their gender identity.
The community needs to find alternatives. We all know the desperation when one finally identifies differently than their gender at birth. Hopelessness, despair and demise. That is Un-American.
