I think this is a common reaction.

Is there a parent that doesn’t feel this way? The future seems so uncertain. Uncertainty is very unsettling.

I think Americans are looked to in order to understand why such aggression exists in the world. To hear an American like Jennifer Lawrence express her alarm and sadness is somewhat reassuring. It is important high profile Americans speak to peace and safety. 

I thank Jennifer Lawrence for expressing the way most of us feel about the violence of war.

It would be best if the ceasefire turns into a permanent peace, with a viable and non-corrupt governance in the Palestinian Authority.

There needs to be a permanent peace for the benefit of all children everywhere.
