The law that was passed to 'bailout' the banks exempted anyone form being procecuted or held responsible in any way. That is why Goldman got away with a fine and nothing more. This is just about as ludicrous as it gets ! One United is a minority enterprise and I am sure everyone involved was scrambling to save homes and minority owners from foreclosure, especially after the news from Countrywide.
